Citing electronic pioneers such as the Chemical Brothers and Fatboy Slim as well as the Beatles as influences, Theory in Motion (Danny James and Dillon Quent) have created a driving, energetic sound that harkens back to the best moments of the big beat era. Their captivating stage show incorporates live drums, keyboards, turntablism, and singing, and they guarantee that if enlisted that they will tear the house down at any club or rave-style gathering.
Although as yet unsigned, James and Quent have been hard at work and have several projects slated for the immediate future. First of all, they have just completed scoring the soundtrack to an upcoming independent film entitled "Omission" that will be released by Eramix Productions and represents a new direction for the duo. Also, they are currently working on starting their own music school that will offer multiple courses on audio production, mixing and DJing. The courses will be open to people all of ages, but specific emphasis will be placed on introducing teenagers to the basics of digital-age music technology. Be on the lookout for a new full-length as well, slated for completion sometime this fall.
